This is what we awoke to on the morning we were supposed to leave Smithers October 29, 2009. It was obviously a weather day and was spent waiting for the rains to come and wash away the snow on the road surface. Thankfully it was only a 24 hour wait. The next morning was clear and dry. So, off we went. An overnight in beautiful downtown Lac le Hache and back to Revelstoke by October 31. High winds buffeted us almost all the way making us pine for a larger tow vehicle.
